Say goodbye to your worst enemy,
You've probably heard about imposter syndrome, one of the biggest traps most developers fall into: 58% of tech employees suffer from this. It’s very common to think this happens to junior developers that are just getting started, but that can’t be further from the truth.
When applying to remote international roles, we found out that most mid-level and senior tech professionals are held back by their own self-doubts and fear of not being a “good fit” for the company. These are the most common imposter syndrome symptoms in Latin American tech talent:
“I don’t have the English level needed to succeed in this role.”
“I won’t be able to bond with my team working remotely, they have a different culture.”
“How can I grow in the company if they don’t see me? They are definitely going to favor someone else.”
“My skills need to be polished, I can’t compete with other international developers.”
Are these thoughts familiar to you? If yes, these resources will help you fight them, so buckle up!:
